About Buda Oaks Buda Oaks is an assisted living and memory care community just south of Austin offering a vibrant, engaging environment for seniors. The community emphasizes meaningful activities and socialization to enhance residents' quality of life. Weekend Activities Coordinator — What You'll Do As a Weekend Activities Coordinator, your main responsibilities include: Hosting and setting up scheduled activities for residents. Encouraging and assisting residents in participating. Supporting team members to create meaningful connections through activities. Taking attendance and photographs for every activity using Sagely (activity documentation system). Helping wherever needed as assigned by the Activity Director. This is a part-time weekend role (e.g., Saturdays and Sundays) with shifts designed to support the activity schedule for residents. What We're Looking For These are the key qualifications and attributes for this role: Required High school diploma or GED. 6 months related experience and/or training (can include comparable work with seniors, activities, or caregiving). Availability for orientation and training during the week (even if most scheduled hours are weekends). A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. A genuine compassion for and desire to work with the elderly . Personal Qualities That Fit Well Energy, enthusiasm, creativity, and excitement for engaging residents. Comfortable facilitating and supporting group activities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
