Job Description
Challenge Island in North Dallas is looking for energetic, responsible, and dependable assistant camp counselors to help with our summer camps for elementary-aged children. This is a great summer position for high school or college-aged students who enjoy working with kids, staying active, and helping create a fun, safe, and positive camp environment.

Monday-Friday8:30 AM - 3:30PM Responsibilities:
Assistant Camp Counselors will work alongside the lead teacher/camp instructor to help keep camp running smoothly each day.Responsibilities include:
Gathering and organizing supplies for camp activities Helping set up and clean up before, during, and after activities Assisting elementary-aged campers with hands-on projects and activities Supporting the lead teacher during lessons and group activities Helping supervise campers throughout the day Encouraging positive behavior and teamwork Helping maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming camp environment Assisting with transitions, snack/water breaks, and general camp routines Being a positive role model for campers Qualifications Must be at least 16 years old Reliable transportation required Experience working with children is preferred Must be dependable, responsible, and on time Must enjoy working with elementary-aged children Able to follow directions and work as part of a team Positive attitude and willingness to jump in and help where needed Comfortable helping in a busy, hands-on camp environment Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is friendly, patient, responsible, and enjoys being around kids. This person does not need to be the lead teacher, but should be willing to help wherever needed, stay engaged throughout the day, and support campers as they participate in fun, hands-on activities.To Apply:
