Job Description
Company Overview Friends Place Adult Day Services is dedicated to providing specialized daytime care and engaging programs for individuals with Alzheimer's and other dementias. Our mission is to enable clients to maintain dignity, purpose, and independence while supporting their families through compassionate, community-based services. Overview As a Senior Care Enrichment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our senior members by planning, organizing, and leading engaging activities, as well as providing care for activities of daily living while they are at the center.
Your responsibilities will include:
Activity Lead and Facilitation:
o Learn how to deliver a variety of engaging activities tailored to the interests and abilities of our senior members. These activities are developed by our Activity Director. o Lead group activities, such as games, crafts, exercise classes, music. o Encourage member participation and interaction. o Adapt activities to meet individual needs and preferences.

Member Care:
o Assist with daily living activities, including toileting and meal assistance. o Ensure members are well-supervised and safe. o Build strong relationships with members and their families.
Facility Maintenance:
o Assist with general housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment. o Perform opening and closing procedures when needed.

Requirements:
o Must be at least 18 years old o Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record o Must have a clear criminal background check o Must have a genuine passion for working with seniors o Must have experience caring for seniors o Experience in activity facilitation or a related field is preferred (but not required)
Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
