Non-College Work-Study| Esports Student Assistant

Description :

Ensures esports center rules are followed and helps keep the esports center area clean Answers and assists with department phone calls Performs general clerical work (copying, filing, distributing mail, data entry) Interacts with all levels of university personnel, students, and the general population Assists in giving guided tours of the esports center Assists students, faculty, and staff Assists with social media posts and online community discussion boards Assists with events and initiatives sponsored by the Office of Student Activities Runs errands within the university campus buildings Assists the office staff as needed Serves as backup to the Student Activities department Performs opening and closing procedures and follows all UHD emergency procedures All other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must have the ability to multitask and interact professionally with staff, faculty, and students Must be familiar with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Must be well organized, responsible, punctual, and a self-starter Must have good people skills and a professional attitude and appearance Must have effective verbal/written communication skills Must be familiar with video game systems:

Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, PC Qualifications:
