Part-Time Fitness Desk Attendant Status :
Part-time, hourly $16.75 (non-exempt) Reports to : Fitness Operations Manager /
Director of Fitness Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and participate in vigorous physical fitness related activities both indoors and outdoors.

Irving, TX 75038: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Job Summary Works with a larger team to provide world class service to all Fitness Center Members and Guests. Check in Members and guests, monitor all activities within the Fitness Center, and inform Members and guests of Fitness Center policies. Provide exceptional customer service as well as assistance and oversight on proper use of equipment. Organize and clean of all equipment, workstations, and Fitness areas. Manage stock of towels and supplies within Fitness areas. Job Responsibilities Greet all Members and guests at entrance. Properly check in Members, register guests of Members and charge guest fees, and register all resort guests. Offer amenities and orientation of the fitness facility. Hand out cool towels to those working out. Offer to assist with equipment as necessary. Assist customers in all inquiries in connection with Club offerings. Handle all member/guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism. Resolve customer complaints or escalate to Management as appropriate. Walk through all Fitness areas, ensuring they are clean, well-maintained and adequately stocked. Provide daily care and cleaning of all equipment, workstations, studios and Member areas. Ensure fitness equipment is in good working order. Perform basic preventative care and promptly report functional or safety issues with equipment and facilities to Management. Assist with monitoring supply levels and notify Management when supply orders are needed. Support strong teamwork and engagement among team members. Participate in and contribute to team meetings. Report any safety or emergency issues with urgency and discretion. Follow emergency and safety procedures and protocols, including incident handling and reporting procedures. Assist other departments as needed and work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and leadership. Ability to offer first aid or CPR as necessary (training provided annually). Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be outgoing and enjoy meeting new people and developing relationships. Must demonstrate high-level of professionalism and tact in all communication and interactions with team members, Club Members, and Guests. Requires reading and writing and oral proficiency in the English language. Must be attentive to customer needs and deliver exceptional customer service. Must demonstrate integrity, professionalism, strong work ethic, and initiative. Must be a strong team player with a positive attitude, a willingness to help others, and a commitment to the team's success. Must be reliable and dedicated to showing up on time for all scheduled shifts. Must enjoy a fun and active work environment. Must have basic computer knowledge, be able to learn and effectively operate Club software programs and technology, and count and record accurately.
