Touchmark at Emerald Lake is currently seeking the right person to join our team as our Health and Fitness Manager. The Health and Fitness Manager will oversee our health and fitness studio and provide quality health and fitness opportunities for our residents along with conducting classes and providing personal training sessions. The manager will also ensure that we are our growing our personal training hours; offering modern fitness classes; as well as growing our team member participation in health and fitness opportunities. Bachelor's degree in exercise science, fitness training or related discipline. Minimum five years' experience in a fitness/wellness management role (Experience working with aging adults and/or special fitness populations; experience in a retirement community setting is a plus.) Minimum five years' experience working with the mature population. Current certification through a nationally accredited organization (such asACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE
) Nationally recognized and current AED/CPR and First Aid certification required or obtained shortly after hire.
