Job Description
An activity assistant plans, coordinates, and leads recreational, social, and therapeutic activities—such as crafts, games, and exercise classes—to improve the quality of life for our residents in our long term care facility. Key duties include setting up/cleaning activity areas, encouraging resident engagement, transporting participants, documenting attendance, and adapting events to meet diverse physical or cognitive needs. Outgoing and fun personality a must!
