What You Will Be Doing:
Our professionals are the most important resource in our service commitment to our customers. We nurture a progressive environment where challenging, empowered, and purposeful work is celebrated. The Senior Recreation Specialist, Fitness provides hands-on leadership and operational support across Champions Club's Fitness & Performance areas. This role combines an active presence on the fitness floor with staff leadership, program support, and operational oversight to ensure a safe, welcoming, and high-quality experience. By providing consistent direction to staff, responding to operational needs, and supporting key fitness programs and initiatives, this position helps keep the Fitness & Performance area running smoothly while delivering an exceptional experience for Champions Club members and guests. The position also serves as a backup Manager on Duty (MOD) as needed, providing facility-wide leadership and oversight to maintain management coverage, address operational needs, and ensure Champions Club operations run safely and smoothly. What You Bring To Us:
A H igh School Diploma. Up to two (2) years of relevant experience. Supervisory experience highly preferred. A positive attitude. Excellent customer service abilities. You work for the greater good of the City and live the values every day. You anticipate customer needs and relentlessly pursue solutions . You take pride in your work . It's your community! You are warm and sincere and listen with empathy . Ability to remain flexible with your schedule to cover facility operations that span over 102 hours per week.
