Tomball Retirement Center is seeking a dependable, outgoing Activities Assistant to support resident activities and oversee all resident transportation. If you enjoy working with seniors, planning fun experiences, and helping others stay connected, we'd love to meet you! What You'll Do Assist with planning and leading activities, games, social events, and outings that reflect residents' interests. Encourage resident participation and help create a warm, welcoming environment. Coordinate and provide all resident transportation, including scheduled appointments, errands, and community outings. Safely operate the community shuttle and assist residents with boarding and exiting. Maintain transportation schedules, trip records, and required documentation. Use a computer for calendars, activity materials, email, scheduling, and recordkeeping. Communicate with residents, families, and team members about activities and transportation needs. Monitor vehicle readiness and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns. What We're Looking For A friendly, patient, and service-oriented personality with a passion for working with seniors. Strong organization, communication, and computer skills. A valid driver's license and driving record that meets facility requirements. Previous shuttle-driving experience preferred; willingness to learn and complete required driver training is essential. Dependability and the ability to manage schedules and responsibilities.
