5/28/2026 5:00 PM Employment Opportunity The Orem Recreation Department is currently hiring a Recreation Program Coordinator for the sports programs. This is a full-time, benefited position working under the direction of the Recreation Programs Manager. This Program Coordinator position is responsible for organizing, supervising, and coordinating adult and youth sports programs and events. This position will hire, train, schedule, evaluate, and supervise part-time and seasonal staff of recreation assistants. • 2 years relevant experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Management or related field (additional experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis)
• 1 year relevant supervisory experience Pay and Benefits The current salary range for Recreation Program Coordinators is $25.

15to $36.93 hourly. Individual starting salary generally starts towards the bottom of the range but may depend on qualifications, certifications, and years of service. The City also provides a comprehensive and competitive benefits package.
