Open Until Filled Employment Opportunity The Orem Recreation Department is currently hiring for Desk Clerks. This is a part-time, non-benefited position working between the Orem Family Fitness Center and the SCERA Park Pools. Desk Clerks are responsible for monitoring the admission into and usage of recreation facilities, including the Orem Family Fitness Center and SCERA Park Pools. Employees in this position collect fees from patrons, sell memberships, check equipment in and out, handle department-wide program registrations, assist with minor cleaning of facility and grounds, and supervise and monitor activities within the facilities. Desk Clerks also enforce rules and policies, and operate equipment and appliances as they relate to the concessions and operations of the fitness center and pools (including, but not limited to: washer, dryer, microwave, and cash register). Qualifications Requires knowledge of recreation facility usage, including rules, policies and procedures. Must possess and maintain a food handler’s permit (must obtain permit within 30 days from hire date). Ability to deal politely and efficiently with the public and settle disputes between groups and individuals. Ability to accurately handle monetary transactions and operate a cash register. Applicants must be in compliance with Recreation department dress, personal appearance, and tattoo policy. The successful candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background investigation. Pay and Benefits Starts at $10.20 per hour based on experience. Schedule 15

• 28 hours per week. Weekday shifts available (various shifts between 5:00 am and 10:00 pm), plus rotating Saturdays. Specifically Looking for those with a aiablity during opening/midday shifts, 4:45am
• 12pm or 12pm
