OF POSITION
The Wildstar Room and Activities Supervisor is responsible for supporting the daily operation of Wildstar youth programming, camps, family activities, and educational experiences while ensuring participant safety, engagement, and exceptional service. This role helps lead structured activities, supports staff on child engagement techniques, assists with program planning and supplies, and ensures Wildstar programs are delivered in a fun, safe, organized, and memorable way for children and families. The ideal candidate is highly organized, energetic, excellent with children, and capable of balancing activity execution with day-to-day operational responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Wildstar, Peaks, Makerspace, Adventures, ski camps, holiday camps, and family programming. Facilitate structured activities, curriculum, lesson plans, activity schedules, and daily youth programming. Lead activities and support programs while maintaining a fun, safe, and engaging atmosphere. Maintain activity supplies, inventories, program materials, and setup needs. Support behavior management, conflict resolution, participant check-in, and positive child and family relationships. Assist with staff scheduling, staffing coverage, daily adjustments, and communication for programs, camps, and events. Support OST license compliance, youth safety standards, and Talisker Club service expectations. Assist with special event execution, transportation coordination, reservations, and participant communications as needed. Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide day-to-day guidance to Wildstar and activities staff during programs, camps, and events. Support staff on child engagement techniques, program expectations, safety practices, and activity execution. Assist with staffing schedules, shift coverage, daily communication, and operational follow-up under the direction of the Wildstar Manager.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT
Includes evenings, weekends, holidays, and school breaks, with flexibility required during peak programming seasons. Work is performed onsite and may include indoor and outdoor youth programming environments. Must be able to support safe program execution, activity setup, guest check-in, and daily operational needs.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Experience working with children ages 5-15. Strong experience working with children and leading groups of youth. Creative, energetic personality with the ability to facilitate engaging activities and curriculum. Strong organizational, written communication, and verbal communication skills. Experience supporting staff schedules and daily staffing adjustments. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Valid Driver's License required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Preferred background in teaching, camp, recreation, childcare, hospitality, education, child development, or youth programming. CPR/First Aid Certification preferred. Experience with Jonas, Court Reserve, ADP, or similar platforms preferred. Minimum intermediate-advanced skiing or snowboarding proficiency preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS
Highly organized, energetic, and comfortable balancing activity planning with day-to-day operational responsibilities. Excellent with children and families, with the ability to build positive relationships and support safe youth engagement. Capable of creating lesson plans, activity schedules, and engaging camp or youth programming experiences. Able to support program staffing, OST compliance, activity supplies, special events, and member satisfaction under the direction of the Wildstar Manager.
