Do you enjoy working with people, leading activities, and bringing energy and creativity to a program? Were looking for an enthusiastic Program Instructor to help develop and lead recreational and educational programs at PATH Recreation & Fitness Center.
Whether its introducing participants to a new activity, helping them build confidence and skills, or simply creating a place where they feel welcome and engaged, youll play an important role in making our programs successful.
What Youll DoPlan and lead fun, engaging, and age-appropriate recreational and educational activitiesCreate programming that supports participants social, emotional, and physical well-beingActively engage with participants and help create a positive, inclusive environmentFacilitate and supervise group activities while keeping safety and fun at the forefrontAssist with program registration, attendance, participant records, and other program detailsBuild positive relationships with participants, members, guests, and familiesAnswer questions and provide friendly, timely follow-upStay knowledgeable about classes, programs, activities, and special events happening at the centerHelp keep courts, fitness spaces, equipment, and program areas clean, organized, and ready for useWork collaboratively with other team members to support programs and special eventsPerform other duties as assignedWhat Were Looking ForYou dont have to know everything on day one! Were looking for someone who is dependable, engaging, organized, and comfortable taking the lead with groups.

Required:
High school diploma or equivalentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to follow instructions and work independentlyAbility to facilitate and supervise group activitiesComfortable using Microsoft Office and Google WorkspaceCurrent CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hirePreferred:
At least one year of experience in recreation, fitness, education, youth programming, sports, or a related settingCompensation:
This position is paid on a commission basis, with earnings tied to the programs/classes instructed and participation. Additional details regarding the commission structure will be discussed during the interview process.Why Join Us?
