We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Activities Aide to support the daily engagement and enrichment of residents in our senior living community. This role plays a vital part in enhancing quality of life through meaningful social, recreational, and wellness-focused programming.
Responsibilities:
Support the planning and execution of daily, evening, and weekend activity programs Assist in developing and leading spiritual, intergenerational, recreational, and entertainment-based activities Help maintain and update the monthly activities calendar Encourage resident participation and foster a warm, inclusive environment Celebrate residents' milestones, birthdays, holidays, and special achievements Set up and break down activity spaces and ensure supplies are organized and available Document participation and provide feedback to improve programming
Qualifications:
Experience in senior living, recreation, activities, Positive, outgoing, and patient demeanor Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to engage and motivate older adults with varying levels of ability Team-oriented with a genuine passion for resident enrichment Shift Weekend Only or Every other weekend.
