This is a hands-on, wear-many-hats position for someone who loves working with children and families, enjoys creating memorable experiences, and wants to be involved in multiple areas of a growing family-focused business. You won't be sitting behind a desk all day. You'll help bring our programs, parties, memberships, and events to life while supporting the day-to-day operation of The Playroom Cafe. What You'll Do Kid Fit & Children's Programs Lead scheduled Kid Fit classes and provide a fun, energetic experience for children Help create engaging activities and class experiences Build relationships with families attending Kid Fit Help convert trial participants into paying customers Support enrollment and growth of the Kid Fit program Assist with special fitness events, challenges, and promotions Support other classes and children's programs as needed Birthday Parties & Experiences Assist with setup, execution, and cleanup of birthday parties Help bring our unique birthday party experiences and packages to life Prepare party materials, activities, and experience areas Provide excellent customer service to birthday families Help guests understand available party upgrades and add-ons Assist with creating memorable moments for the birthday child and their guests Memberships & Events Introduce families to The Playroom Cafe membership options Help educate customers about member benefits Identify opportunities to encourage membership sign-ups Assist with planning and executing exclusive member events Help create fun, engaging experiences that encourage families to return Support special events, workshops, themed play days, and other programs Daily Operations Assist with opening and closing procedures Help maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming facility Perform routine safety checks Reset play areas and activity spaces Assist customers with questions, bookings, and general needs Support the team wherever needed during busy periods Follow The Playroom Cafe's operating, safety, cleaning, and customer service procedures

We're Looking For Someone Who Is:

Energetic, outgoing, and genuinely enjoys working with children Comfortable interacting with parents and families Dependable and willing to jump in wherever needed Comfortable leading activities or classes in front of children Friendly and confident when talking with customers Comfortable making recommendations and promoting memberships, parties, and programs Organized and able to manage multiple tasks Creative and excited about creating memorable children's experiences A team player who doesn't mind getting their hands dirty Comfortable working some evenings and weekends CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification Previous experience working with children, recreation, fitness, hospitality, events, or customer service is a plus Compensation $18 per hour , based on experience. Candidates with strong experience in children's programming, fitness instruction, customer service, sales, or event coordination may be considered for the higher end of the range.

Part-time:

approximately 15-25 hours per week , with additional hours available during busy party/event periods.
