As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children. You will be responsible for leading activities, providing guidance, and ensuring the well-being of campers while fostering their personal growth and development. Duties Supervise and engage with campers in various enrichment activities, ensuring their safety and enjoyment. Drive campers to local parks and other field trips. Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain a positive atmosphere and resolve conflicts Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members to ensure a cohesive camp experience. Assist with daily operations of the camp, including setup and cleanup of activities. Requirements Should have a permanent driver license for at least 7 years and ideally more. Experience working with children in settings such as camps, schools, or childcare is preferred. Background in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable. Strong skills in classroom management and behavior management techniques. Experience in sports coaching or leading physical activities is a plus. Knowledge of childhood development principles is beneficial. Must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
