Job Description
Company Overview Dungeness Courte is a welcoming 44-bed memory care community located in the heart of Sequim. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional nursing support and around-the-clock care to our residents, fostering a safe and engaging environment for seniors with memory challenges. We are seeking two energetic, pro-active and compassionate individuals to support an extensive daily activity program for our residents with memory care. Join our dedicated team to help create meaningful, engaging experiences each day. The Activities department supports the planning and delivery of group and one-to-one recreational, exercise, and wellness programs tailored to residents' interests and abilities. The knowledge and understanding of the stages of dementia is key in planning and executing our activities. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Lead resident activities, exercise programs with flexibility and ability to multitask Be able to plan/drive/assist on bus outings as appropriate Be able to complete and obtain an HCA (Home Care Aide) Help coordinate and support community volunteers. Support staff to assist with daily needs when related to events Chart resident participation in the electronic charting system.
