` Activity Assistant We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Activity Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the planning and implementation of engaging activities that promote social, physical, and mental well-being for our clients. Part Time 20 hours per week Every other weekend and Every other Holiday This position may require helping with occasional evening programs Responsibilities Assist in organizing and leading recreational and therapeutic activities. Support clients in participating safely and effectively in scheduled activities. Prepare materials and equipment needed for activities. Encourage social interaction and positive engagement among participants. Monitor and report on client progress and behavior during activities. Collaborate with other staff to ensure activities meet individual needs and preferences. Maintain a clean and safe activity environment. Skills and Qualifications Experience as an Activity Assistant or in a similar role. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to motivate and engage individuals of diverse backgrounds and abilities. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude. Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Education High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in recreational therapy or related field is a plus. C.N.A certification recommended ```
