We are seeking an enthusiastic, relationship-focused Group Exercise Coordinator to lead and support our group exercise programs while inspiring members to achieve their health and wellness goals.

The Group Exercise Coordinator position is a part-time commitment of less than 30 hours per week which includes approximately 10-20 hours spent on administrative duties and also teaching group exercise classes, doing personal training and building relationships with members and participants. Qualified candidates must be flexible with weekly scheduling and be available to work during days and hours of branch operations.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Coordinate day-to-day operations of branch group exercise classes and programs as assigned and provide leadership to staff ensuring a positive environment that promotes member wellness and engagement in accordance with Association growth strategies, policies, and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
Work experience in Health & Wellness programming/environment, required. Personal training certification, preferred. Staff supervision experience, preferred. Willingness to attend meetings, training, and obtain additional certification as requested.
