High School Diploma or GED plus one(1) year customer service experience to include one (1) year hotel or travel agent experience. Must meet all knowledge, skills and abilities. Must be eighteen (18) years of age for Arizona properties and twenty-one (21) years of age for New Mexico properties. No felony, theft or stealing convictions. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license. Navajo preference.Knowledge, Abilities, Skills, and Certifications:
- Knowledge of principles and practices of customer service in a hotel environment.
- Knowledge of computer utilization in business operations.
- Knowledge of reservation system.
- Knowledge of room allocations.
- Knowledge of surrounding areas and points of interest.
- Knowledge of the hotel industry.
- Skill in phone etiquette.
- Skill in operating various word-processing, spreadsheets, and database software programs in a Windows environment, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Skill in using personal computers and reservation software systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with staff and the general public.
- Ability to present oneself in a professional appearance and manner.
- Ability to apply basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situation where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to type.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form.
