Under the direction of the executive team, you will oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and managing a united service team that aligns with our values and standards. You must be able to clearly communicate and instruct the team in standards and steps of service to achieve consistent, high quality, memorable guest experiences. Set the example for quality You will be responsible for monitoring food and beverage preparation methods, portion sizes, garnishing, and presentation to ensure that the quality of the food and cocktails that we serve meet our company standards, from the moment an ingredient arrives to the moment it hits the table. Set the example for service You will be responsible for responding to guest inquiries, proactively supporting service team members with guest interactions, maintaining a strong presence on the floor to anticipate and address issues, and investigating and resolving guest concerns. You will also oversee communicating and responding to private event inquires. You will work with the Director of Operations and Regional Manager to lock in these events and will receive a $100 fee for confirming and executing any event you booked. Set an example for compliance You will be responsible for ensuring that the staff understands and follows all company standards and governmental regulations for food safety and service. You will also be responsible for adhering to all federal and state labor laws and resolving any building maintenance issues or sending service requests to the Director of Operations. Assist in monitoring the bars' financials alongside the Director of Operations and Head Office. You will be responsible for overseeing inventory, upholding labor and cost budgets, and meeting deadlines set by head office. Assist in any creation and Implementation of any promotions or events Work with staff and head office on seasonal menu changes and help elevate our farm to table concept Work directly with bartenders to ensure store is being managed properly and meet all budgets and standards Work with corporate team to help build sales, maintain guest satisfaction, and grow guest count You will also be responsible for counting money, making change orders, writing checks, and ensuring all invoices are scanned on time and properly stored. Overseeing the training and orientation process of new team members, as well as staff counseling and job performance reviews Providing support and mentorship to bar manager and staff Working with management team to ensure all company policies, procedures, standards are being always met and executed properly Job Skills and Requirements
  • You must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license.
  • Required to work 5 days a week hitting a minimum of 45 hours worked per week
  • Your own form of reliable transportation and proof of valid car insurance. You might have to pick up transfers from our sister concept brick and tin from time to time.
  • A high school diploma and 5 years of craft cocktail experience are required
  • 2 years of proven General Manager or Bar Manager experience of an upscale restaurant or bar
  • Excellent wine, spirit, and beer knowledge required. Menu creation is a plus.
  • Serve Safe certification is required. Certification must be received before the sixth month employment anniversary.
  • You must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds and stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • You are dependable, honest, professional, and able to work with head office and follow direction given.
  • You have razor-sharp attention to detail and communication skills.
  • You have excellent time management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
  • You work well as part of a team and leave ego at the door.
  • You are an advocate for great hospitality and strive to make every experience memorable.
  • You see value in understanding and participating in the "business side" of the business, and you can perform fundamental business math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percentages, and basic algebra.
  • You're familiar with the following tools and equipment: Computers, printers/copiers/scanners, cash registers, carbonated beverage dispensers, cocktail shakers and accessories, blenders/juicers, cutlery, strainers, ice machines, etc.
  • Familiarity with the following electronic systems is preferred but not required: Restaurant 365, Microsoft Office, toast and Google platform applications (i.
e., Gmail, Calendar, Google Docs, etc). Pay and Benefits This position is a full-time, hourly, and overtime allowed position offering very competitive pay. It is a base hourly pay plus share of tip pool. OT is paid at time and a half. Managers are required to work 45 hours per week so 5 hours of OT is built in every week. During peak season annualized weekly pay can be 85K plus and during off seasons lowest at 60k plus. Paid weekly on Wednesday with direct deposit Health, vision, and dental benefits after 90 days of employment. We offer primary and secondary insurance. Benefits can be discussed and fit applicants' needs. Insurance is considered part of all in compensation. We are closed most major holidays, close at 10 Monday
  • Wednesday, Thursday at 11pm, Friday and Saturday we close at midnight.
We are closed Sunday all day. 40 hours of PTO upon hiring and available after 90 days of employment. We offer performance and tenure based raises. 2 consecutive days off with a very competitive schedule for the bar industry and this position
