Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Bar Manager to lead our vibrant bar operations and create memorable experiences for our guests. In this role, you will oversee daily bar activities, manage staff, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. Your leadership will drive the team to deliver outstanding hospitality while optimizing profitability and operational efficiency. Duties Supervise all aspects of bar operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Lead staff training initiatives on food preparation, POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, and customer service excellence. Oversee food and beverage presentation, ensuring quality standards are met consistently across all offerings. Manage cash handling procedures, including balancing registers and preparing financial reports related to profit and loss analysis. Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure smooth flow of food production, catering, banquet services, and casual dining experiences. Monitor inventory levels regularly to minimize waste and control costs; place orders for supplies as needed. Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction. Conduct staff interviews, supervise team management activities, and foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth. Skills Proven experience in food service management with a strong background in managing hospitality teams within casual dining or fine dining settings. Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficient in cash handling and basic math for financial accuracy. Demonstrated ability in supervising food preparation, kitchen management, catering, and banquet operations. Excellent leadership skills with experience in team training, staff development, interviewing, and managing hospitality teams effectively. Strong understanding of food safety management practices, food handling procedures, and health regulations. Skilled in managing inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and cost control strategies. Exceptional communication skills suited for managerial roles involving training & development, managerial communication, and customer service excellence. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with quick service & fast food restaurant experience preferred; experience in managing hospitality teams is highly valued.
