Duties Supervise all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality standards are met. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability. Oversee food safety practices in compliance with health regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation procedures, and maintaining cleanliness standards. Lead staff training initiatives to develop culinary skills, promote teamwork, and ensure adherence to operational procedures. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation accurately. Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours while maintaining a balanced workload. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to foster professional growth within the team. Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement. Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Collaborate with management on menu development, catering events, banquet services, and special promotions to enhance the dining experience. Qualifications Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and cooking. Demonstrated supervisory or management experience within the food industry; previous assistant manager or restaurant management roles preferred. Extensive knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling procedures. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for transaction processing and reporting. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and cost analysis effectively. Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management, staff training, interviewing, and performance development. Exceptional customer service skills combined with effective managerial communication techniques. Ability to handle cash accurately while performing cash handling duties during shifts. Experience in managing hospitality teams within casual dining or fine dining settings; banquet or catering experience is a plus. Basic math skills for order accuracy, inventory counts, and financial analysis. Knowledge of food safety regulations and certifications relevant to the hospitality industry.
