The General Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of restaurant operations to ensure profitability, outstanding customer service, and compliance with brand standards for quality, service, and cleanliness. This role involves supervising and developing management and staff teams, managing financial and operational performance, and fostering a positive work environment. Opportunity Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all operations needs to ensure efficient, profitable, and high-quality service.
- Proactively lead, coach, and develop Crew and Shift Managers.
- Hire, train, and develop management and staff to build a strong, future-ready team.
- Ensure health and food safety measures are set and achieved to McDonald's standards of excellence.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and handle customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Plan for and make critical business decisions around inventory, budget, and food ordering/costs
- Monitor restaurant finances, including cash handling, food costs and preparing reports.
- Implement and uphold operational procedures to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to set and achieve restaurant goals; create and execute plans for continuous improvement.
- Organize staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and flexibility.
- Participate in marketing initiatives to increase sales and customer engagement.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of managerial experience, preferably in high-volume quick service restaurants or hospitality.
- Proven leadership and team management skills; ability to coach and motivate others.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Experience with inventory, budget, and financial management.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- A commitment to excellence and safety in the workplace.
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
