Job Description

The House Manager, is responsible to the Supported Living Coordinator, will work with a group of adults with development disabilities in a group home setting, will provide assistance with daily living skills, transport clients, and ensure the house and lawn are neat and clean. Assure furniture and equipment are in good repair, will supervise recreational activites and will make necessary reports as required by funding agencies and by Howard County Children's Center. Specific Duties and Responsibilities Prepares weekly menus at the group home and assist clients in preperation meals Prepares monthly/weekly schedule of household duties for clients to include: 1. Meal preperations 2. Cleaning Miantians curent needs list for all clients as requested ( clothing, shoes, medical dental, haircare, room needs.) Transports or arranges for transportation for cients to and from work, on shopping erands, dcotor visist an recreational outings. Organizes with co-manager and participates in recreational activites as needed. Arranges and particiaptes in client meetings.
Trains and assist client in:
1. Laundry 2. Grooming 3. Hygiene 4. Housekeeping 5. Leisure time activities 6. Meal planning, shopping, preparation, serving, eating, and clean up. Purchases food and non-food supplies within monthly budget and maintains adequate inventory. Keeps ledger sheets of clients updated and turns in to Coordinator on the 1st day of flowing month and upon special request.
