Cantina Gueros is searching for an Assistant Kitchen Manager for Westside Concepts' Mexico City cuisine location! We are seeking experienced culinary leaders with confidence and passion for the job! The Kitchen Managers at Cantina Gueros are well versed in food costing, managing labor, product freshness and quality, coaching and developing culinary team members, following prep recipes and plating standards, efficient in ordering and inventory maintenance, and communicating any needs, issues, or concerns with the Culinary Director. The culture at each of our locations includes having a strong passion for providing amazing experiences for our guests and a fun, positive atmosphere for our team members. All members of our management teams are strong leaders dedicated to the success of each restaurant. We work as a team with open communication to ensure smooth operations.

Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:

Food Quality and Excellence Maintenance of Food Cost and Labor Goals Safe food handling and food safety knowledge Role model and hold team members accountable Coach and develop culinary team Menu, prep, and line build knowledge Follow Operational Systems and SOPs Strong Teamwork culture Responsible Cash and Card Handling Must be Available Night & Weekends Cultivate open communication between managers and team members alike Interview, Hire, & Train team members to take on larger roles
