Overview Join our dynamic team as a Salaried Restaurant Manager and lead the charge in delivering exceptional dining experiences! In this energetic role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, inspire and manage staff, ensure top-notch customer service, and uphold food safety standards. Your leadership will drive the success of our vibrant food service environment, whether it's casual dining, quick service, or fine dining. Duties Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and developing team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service. Oversee and assist with food preparation, cooking processes, and food presentation to maintain quality standards across all menu offerings. Manage daily shift operations, including scheduling, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Utilize POS systems for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Monitor food production and kitchen activities to optimize efficiency while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Control inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and minimize waste through effective food management practices. Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to enhance guest satisfaction and foster loyalty. Conduct staff training sessions on food handling, hospitality best practices, and operational procedures to promote continuous improvement. Requirements Proven management experience within the food industry or hospitality sector with supervising responsibilities. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management. Familiarity with POS systems; experience with cash handling is essential. Strong background in food safety standards and compliance with health regulations. Demonstrated ability in staff training & development, team management, and interviewing potential employees. Experience managing operations in quick service & casual dining environments is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences. Ability to handle shift management efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Culinary experience combined with leadership skills to motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of inventory control systems and food management practices for optimal resource utilization. Hospitality management or catering services is advantageous.
