Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Store Manager to lead our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our retail food store. The Store Manager is responsible for ensuring the store operates efficiently, employees are properly trained and managed, company standards are consistently followed, and customers receive excellent service. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can organize daily operations, hold employees accountable, develop a productive team, and maintain a clean, organized, and well-run store. Responsibilities Lead, supervise, train, and coach employees while setting clear expectations and holding team members accountable for performance, attendance, and customer service Manage employee scheduling, daily assignments, staffing needs, and overall workflow to ensure efficient store operations Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, POS operations, register accountability, and deposits Ensure the store is clean, organized, properly stocked, and maintained according to company standards Oversee inventory organization, receiving, stocking, product rotation, freshness, and inventory counts while communicating shortages or product needs to management Ensure food safety, sanitation, cleaning, and workplace safety procedures are consistently followed Maintain a high standard of customer service and professionally resolve customer questions or concerns Monitor daily store operations, identify issues, and communicate staffing, maintenance, inventory, or operational concerns to ownership or upper management Experience & Qualifications Previous management or supervisory experience in retail, food service, grocery, hospitality, or another fast-paced customer-facing environment Strong employee management skills, including training, coaching, scheduling, delegation, and performance management Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience managing day-to-day operations and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Food service, grocery, or retail food experience is preferred but not required Experience with POS systems, cash handling, inventory, receiving, and stocking is preferred Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, opening shifts, and closing shifts as needed We are looking for a manager who takes ownership of daily store operations, leads by example, and knows how to build and maintain a dependable, productive team. Success in this position requires strong leadership, accountability, organization, and consistent follow-through.
