Job Description
The Dragon Beaux Shift Manager is responsible for all food and beverage production and service during their shift; train and supervise subordinates and assure that the wants and needs of guests are consistently exceeded. In addition, the Dragon Beaux Shift Manager ensures excellence in guest satisfaction through effective training of staff, commitment to the "Sky River Spirit", and a hands-on, lead-by-example management style. Schedules, directs, supervises, trains, and develops Dragon Beaux staff. Ensures compliance with all department and company sales, regulations, policies, procedures, internal controls, and government rules and regulations. Develops and maintains high standards of safety and sanitation. Follows a requisition system for restocking the location by managing inventory and ordering food and beverages, equipment, and supplies. Oversees food preparation, portion sizes, and the overall presentation of food. Inspects supplies, equipment, and work areas. Ensures employees comply with health and food safety standards and regulations. Investigates and resolves complaints regarding food quality or service. Schedules staff hours and assigns duties. Maintains budgets and payroll records and reviews financial transactions. Establishes standards for personnel performance and customer service. Optimizes profits by controlling food and labor costs and expenses on a daily basis. Promotes positive public and employee relations. Performs other duties as assigned.
