Job Description

Job Summary We are on the lookout for an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant General Manager to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you'll be a key player in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is passionate about food and hospitality, possesses strong leadership skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve supporting management, supervising staff, and helping create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Duties Assist the General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, and shift management. Supervise front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient food delivery. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards to maintain quality and compliance with health regulations. Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Control inventory levels by monitoring stock, conducting regular audits, and coordinating with suppliers for timely replenishment. Support staff training and development initiatives to enhance team performance and ensure adherence to food safety protocols. Manage customer relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a positive dining experience across casual dining, fine dining, or catering settings. Experience Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant management roles within the food service industry. Hands-on experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong background in food preparation, kitchen management, and food safety practices. Demonstrated supervisory skills with a focus on team management, training & development, and staff interviewing. Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and food cost management to support operational efficiency. Experience working in diverse settings such as quick service restaurants, casual dining, hotel restaurants, or banquet environments is preferred. Excellent communication skills combined with leadership qualities to motivate teams and deliver outstanding customer service. Pay:
$70,612.43 - $72,361.20 per year
