XMalatang is a growing fast-casual malatang and build-your-own hotpot noodle restaurant brand. We are currently preparing to open new locations in Garden Grove, Cypress, and Fullerton. We are looking for responsible and motivated Restaurant Managers, Assistant Managers, and Manager Trainees to join our team. Selected candidates will receive training at our Irvine location before being assigned to one of the new stores based on experience, performance, and store needs.
Responsibilities:
Manage daily restaurant operations Supervise front-of-house and back-of-house team members Assist with employee scheduling, attendance, and shift management Ensure food quality, service speed, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction Oversee cashier, weighing, dine-in, takeout, and delivery order procedures Monitor food display, restocking, inventory, and waste control Train new employees and support new store opening preparation Handle customer complaints and daily operational issues Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department standards Complete opening, closing, cleaning, and daily operation checklists Report sales, labor, inventory, and store issues to ownership or upper management
Requirements:
Restaurant experience required Restaurant management or shift lead experience preferred Experience in hotpot, malatang, Chinese food, fast casual, quick-service restaurant, boba, or Asian restaurant operations is a plus Strong sense of responsibility and leadership Able to work in a fast-paced environment Good communication and problem-solving skills Able to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules Able to train at the Irvine location before new store assignment Bilingual English / Mandarin or English / Chinese is preferred, but not required Must be legally authorized to work in the
United States Compensation:
Training period: hourly pay based on experience Manager / Assistant Manager pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour, depending on experience and performance Growth opportunities available as we continue opening new locations Performance bonus may be available after store opening
