Today, we are conquering the US market, and we need a General Manager to take complete ownership of our [Insert Location] store. We need a leader who thrives on the floor, not just behind a desk. We are looking for a gritty, financially disciplined, and deeply hospitable leader who knows how to run a high-volume restaurant while developing their team and protecting the bottom line.
THE CHALLENGE
Running an El Moro is a beautiful balancing act. You have to maintain the uncompromising quality of a 90-year-old artisanal legacy while executing with the speed and efficiency of a modern fast-casual powerhouse.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Own the
Business:
You are the CEO of your four walls. You will manage the P&L, optimize labor, control inventory, and drive top-line sales. Lead the
Floor:
You aren't afraid to jump on the line during a rush. You will direct traffic, expedite food, and ensure speed of service never compromises quality. Build the
Bench:
You will recruit, hire, and mentor the next generation of El Moro leaders. You will spend 30% of your time coaching and turning entry-level clerks into Shift Leads. Protect the
Standard:
From the temperature of the churro to the cleanliness of the dining room (Siempre Intachable), you ensure our legacy is never compromised.
WHO YOU ARE
Experienced:
You have 3-5+ years of General Management experience in a high-volume restaurant concept. You know how to read a P&L and make strategic financial decisions.
Bilingual Leader:
Fluent in English and Spanish is highly preferred. You can comfortably connect with your prep team in Spanish and engage with local vendors in English.
Emotionally Intelligent:
You can read the room. You know when to push the team for speed and when to pull them aside for support.
A True Host:
You love the high-energy chaos of the restaurant industry and thrive on providing incredible hospitality.
