The ideal candidate will possess strong food management skills and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. As the Kitchen Manager, you will oversee kitchen operations, ensure food quality and safety standards are met, and manage staff effectively to create a cohesive team atmosphere. Duties Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food preparation. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock to minimize waste. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance. Conduct training development programs for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices. Handle cash management responsibilities, including tracking sales and managing expenses. Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service during peak hours. Develop menus in collaboration with the culinary team, focusing on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Skills Strong background in food management and culinary arts. Proven experience in kitchen management within a casual dining setting. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and train staff effectively. Proficiency in cash handling and financial management within a restaurant environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to facilitate teamwork between kitchen and front-of-house staff. Familiarity with health regulations and best practices in food service.
