Our team is known for elevated food, thoughtful service, and seamless execution. We're looking for a highly organized, calm-under-pressure Catering Event Manager to lead events from setup through breakdown and ensure every detail runs smoothly. The Catering Event Manager is responsible for executing events on-site, managing staff and vendors, overseeing food service, and serving as the main point of contact during events. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience in catering or hospitality operations. Responsibilities Serve as the on-site lead for catered events, including weddings, corporate functions, and private events Execute event timelines and floor plans accurately and efficiently Manage catering staff including servers, bartenders, porters, and culinary teams Coordinate with vendors such as rental companies, venues, planners, and bar services Oversee food service, station setups, buffet service, plated meals, and breakdown Ensure food quality, presentation, and service standards are consistently met Handle guest and client needs professionally and discreetly Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards Troubleshoot issues calmly and efficiently in real time Complete post-event wrap-up, inventory checks, and reports as needed Experience Proven experience in event management or hospitality roles such as banquet coordination, restaurant management, hotel operations, or fundraising events. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality excellence. Ability to work long shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays as required Professional demeanor with clients, guests, and vendors Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
