Full Job Description Description:
We're looking for a General Manager to lead our team at Trail Dust BBQ in Morgan Hill, a family-owned restaurant and a long-standing local staple. This position will be responsible for all aspects of restaurant management including overseeing the front and back of house. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring high performance of employees and proper execution of restaurant functions. This position requires an enthusiastic individual with an entrepreneurial personality who can go above and beyond to oversee all restaurant operations and employees.
Management :
Hire, train, and develop hourly employees Identify and delegate responsibilities to leads and staff Ensure that high levels of customer service are being achieved Maintain and update proper employee documentation Ensure that established company processes and procedures are consistently followed Ensure that food standards are consistently being met, including quality and presentation Follow and manage proper sanitation and cleanliness standards in the restaurant
Administrative Duties:
Maintain schedules that ensure appropriate staffing levels in accordance with labor goals Maintain accurate weekly restaurant inventories in order to monitor and take appropriate action to control food costs Review financial data weekly and initiate necessary actions to increase sales and profits Manage daily deposits
Salary & Benefits:
R.E.A.L. General Manager Program - General Managers are eligible for a four week paid sabbatical and a bonus of an entire year's salary after 5 years of service. Base salary starting at $85,000 - $95,000 Quarterly incentive plan with the potential to earn up to 20% of your base salary Medical and dental insurance with a generous company contribution 401(k) option with company match PTO starting at 15 days per year with buy back options 10 paid holidays per year Competitive compensation Phone allowance Dining discounts
