About Us We're opening a brand-new Ben & Jerry's Scoop Shop at Fashion Island in Newport Beach and are looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead our team. This is an exciting opportunity to build a store from the ground up, hire and develop an amazing team, and create an outstanding guest experience. We're looking for a leader who is passionate about people, operations, and making a positive impact in the community. Responsibilities Hire, train, coach, and develop team members Lead daily store operations and ensure excellent customer service Create employee schedules and manage labor costs Maintain inventory and place product orders Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations Monitor store cleanliness and maintenance Manage cash handling and daily financial reporting Coach Shift Leaders and Assistant Managers Resolve customer concerns professionally Meet sales, labor, and profitability goals Support local marketing, catering, and community events Foster a fun, inclusive, and high-performing team culture QualificationsRequired At least 3 years of management experience in restaurant, retail, or hospitality Experience leading and developing teams Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Newport Beach Preferred General Manager experience Experience opening a new business or restaurant Experience with inventory, scheduling, and budgeting P&L management experience Benefits $70,000 annual salary Performance bonus opportunities Paid time off Employee discounts Paid training Leadership development Career advancement opportunities Opportunity to lead the opening of a brand-new Ben & Jerry's location
