Position Overview As Assistant Manager, you'll help run the floor, keep the team sharp, and make sure every guest gets that Jersey Mike's experience-fast, friendly, and done right. What you'll do Support the Manager with daily operations and shift leadership Coach team members on speed, accuracy, and customer service Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and brand standards Assist with prep, opening/closing, cash handling, and shift counts Step in as the lead when the Manager is off What we're looking for Shift lead/supervisor experience in food service preferred Strong communication and a "no excuses" work ethic Comfortable working on your feet and in a fast-paced environment California-required benefits & protections (no extras) Paid sick leave (CA-required), workers' comp, UI/SDI, PFL (if eligible) Meal/rest breaks and overtime per CA requirements
