In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily bar activities, ensure exceptional customer service, and manage a talented team of bartenders and staff. Your leadership will drive the creation of a lively, welcoming atmosphere while maintaining high standards for food and beverage quality, safety, and cleanliness. Duties Supervise all bar operations, including food preparation, drink service, and kitchen coordination to ensure smooth workflow. Oversee POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling, order processing, and sales tracking. Train, mentor, and develop staff in customer service excellence, food safety protocols, and operational procedures. Lead shift management by coordinating team schedules, assigning tasks, and ensuring efficient service during peak hours. Enforce health and safety standards related to food handling, food safety management, and sanitation practices across the bar area. Conduct profit and loss analysis to optimize revenue streams while controlling costs related to food production, beverage costs, and labor. Implement team training programs focused on hospitality management, culinary techniques, and managing hospitality teams effectively. Maintain a lively yet professional environment that promotes teamwork, high-quality service, and guest satisfaction. Experience Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant environments or casual dining settings with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management. Demonstrated supervisory experience managing hospitality teams within restaurant or bar settings; assistant manager experience is highly valued. Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient cash handling and sales processing. Experience with inventory control, budgeting, catering operations, banquet service, and food production is preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively through coaching sessions and team training initiatives. Familiarity with food safety standards and food handling procedures within the food industry or culinary environment. Excellent communication skills for managerial communication, interviewing candidates, and supervising team members. Background in managing hospitality teams with a focus on customer service excellence in both casual dining and fine dining contexts.
