Duties Assist in overseeing daily deli operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high standards of quality and freshness Support staff training and development to promote excellent customer service, food safety, and proper food handling techniques Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability Supervise shift management, ensuring smooth workflow during busy hours while maintaining a positive team environment Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all deli activities Collaborate with management on budgeting, food production planning, and implementing operational improvements Requirements Proven experience in food service management or supervising in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management practices Demonstrated leadership skills with a background in staff training, team management, and interviewing candidates Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction Familiarity with inventory control, food safety standards, and budgeting processes within the food industry Previous experience in deli operations or culinary roles such as kitchen management or fine dining is a plus Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and manage shift responsibilities efficiently This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about the food industry who are eager to grow their leadership skills in a lively hospitality environment.
