This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of restaurant management, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and driving overall profitability. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, team leadership, and operational excellence, inspiring staff to deliver memorable dining experiences in a fast-paced environment. As the face of the restaurant, you will foster a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Responsibilities Lead daily restaurant operations, including managing staff, overseeing food preparation, and ensuring smooth shift transitions. Implement and monitor POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to facilitate efficient order processing and sales tracking. Maintain inventory control by managing stock levels, conducting regular audits, and minimizing waste. Ensure food safety standards are upheld through rigorous food handling procedures and staff training on sanitation protocols. Supervise kitchen and front-of-house teams, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated workforce. Oversee cash handling procedures, reconcile daily sales, and perform profit and loss analysis to meet financial targets. Manage customer service excellence by addressing guest concerns promptly and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Coordinate catering events, banquet services, or special functions as needed to expand revenue streams. Conduct interviews for prospective team members, participate in hiring decisions, and facilitate ongoing staff development initiatives. Enforce compliance with all health regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies to ensure a safe dining environment. Qualifications Proven experience in a high volume restaurant management with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations. Demonstrated supervisory experience managing hospitality teams in casual dining or fine dining settings. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required. Strong knowledge of food safety management practices, inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams through effective training & development programs. Exceptional communication skills suitable for managerial roles including interviewing, team management, and customer service interactions. Ability to manage shift schedules efficiently while maintaining high standards of food quality and service delivery. Basic math skills for financial reconciliation; experience with catering or banquet operations is a plus.
