Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food safety practices to maintain top-tier quality standards. Utilize POS systems such as Toast POS for order processing, sales tracking, and inventory management. Control inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and manage food ordering to minimize waste and maximize profitability. Implement effective cash handling procedures, reconcile daily sales, and ensure accurate financial reporting including profit and loss analysis. Maintain compliance with health regulations, food safety protocols, and sanitation standards across all restaurant areas. Supervise kitchen operations, oversee food production, catering services, banquet events, and bar operations as needed. Drive team training initiatives focused on customer service excellence, food handling safety, and operational efficiency. Conduct shift management duties including scheduling staff shifts to meet business demands while optimizing labor costs. Foster a welcoming hospitality environment by engaging with customers directly and resolving issues promptly. Lead management meetings to review performance metrics, set goals, and strategize for continuous improvement. Qualifications Proven experience in quick service and restaurant management with a strong background in food industry and bar operations. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management including culinary experience. Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Toast; proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills required. Demonstrated success in supervising teams within casual dining or fine dining settings; managerial communication skills essential. Strong understanding of inventory control, food safety management practices, and hospitality standards. Experience managing budgets, analyzing profit and loss statements, and implementing cost-control measures. Ability to lead training & development initiatives; excellent leadership skills with a focus on team management and staff mentoring.
