Welcome to Melanie! We're a small, hospitality-driven restaurant/wine bar on W 3rd St that takes pride in our curated wine selections, service, and passion for the guest experience. Our goal is to make every visit feel personal, memorable, and joyful—because we believe true hospitality is about making people feel cared for and to create the moment for them. We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented and experienced Restaurant Manager who understands the joy of service and the art of creating exceptional guest experiences. This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for someone who thrives in intimate environments, values genuine connection, and has a deep appreciation for wine, food, and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule will usually be Weds - Sunday 1:30pm - 11:30pm (not open for lunch/no late nights) Lead front-of-house operations with a focus on warmth, professionalism, and efficiency Train and inspire staff to deliver consistent, genuine hospitality Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction Oversee wine program coordination and wine service education alongside the Beverage Director Manage scheduling, inventory, and daily service logistics Address guest concerns with professionalism and urgency Foster a culture of teamwork, respect, and service excellence Ensure service standards and team professionalism is maintained at all times
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A minimum of 5 years of restaurant management or strong FOH leadership experience A passion for hospitality and a sincere desire to serve others Strong knowledge of wine and a willingness to learn more Excellent communication and team leadership skills A calm and confident presence under pressure Attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
Preferred:
Formal wine education or sommelier certification Experience in boutique, chef-driven, or wine-focused restaurants A sense of humor and humility—hospitality is serious, but it should also be joyful
