This pivotal role involves overseeing daily store functions, driving sales growth, managing teams, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, a passion for retail, and the ability to motivate and develop staff. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the success of our retail outlets and deliver outstanding shopping experiences. Duties Lead and manage all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and staff supervision. Develop and execute business strategies to meet sales targets, improve profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction. Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to ensure high performance and employee engagement. Oversee payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to maintain accurate financial records. Manage purchasing, pricing strategies, merchandising, stock replenishment, and inventory management to optimize product availability. Supervise shift management duties such as cashiering, customer service excellence, and store cleanliness. Implement marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to attract new customers and retain existing ones. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching on sales techniques and customer interaction skills. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, store policies, and operational procedures while fostering a positive team environment. Qualifications Proven management experience within the retail industry or grocery store environment with supervisory responsibilities. Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing techniques, and recruiting strategies. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse customer bases. Extensive experience with payroll processing, bookkeeping, inventory control systems (including POS), purchasing, and cash handling procedures. Demonstrated leadership in retail sales management, team supervision, training & development programs. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Knowledge of retail math for pricing strategies and sales analysis; experience with marketing initiatives is a plus. Effective communication skills coupled with phone etiquette for customer interactions and team coordination. Ability to handle operational management tasks such as budgeting, stock management, merchandising, shift scheduling, and inventory control confidently. Previous assistant manager or store manager experience is preferred; familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store operations is advantageous.
