Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager - Restaurant / Lead Server to join our vibrant hospitality team! Duties Oversee restaurant operations during shifts, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to quality standards Lead and supervise front-of-house staff, including servers and support team members, fostering a positive team environment Manage food preparation and presentation to uphold high culinary standards and safety regulations Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation Control inventory levels, monitor food safety practices, and oversee food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure freshness Train staff on customer service excellence, food safety protocols, and operational procedures Assist with shift management, including scheduling, supervising food production, and ensuring timely service delivery Conduct staff interviews, performance evaluations, and ongoing training & development initiatives Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and profitability Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests in both casual dining and fine dining settings Skills Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant environments with strong leadership capabilities Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety management practices Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales transactions and reporting Experience managing inventory control, budgeting, and cost analysis within a restaurant setting Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining high customer service standards Strong communication skills for managerial tasks including training, staff management, and customer interactions Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations swiftly under pressure Background in hospitality management with experience in kitchen management or food industry operations Skilled in managing hospitality teams across various roles such as server supervision or culinary support Knowledge of food safety regulations and food handling best practices in diverse dining environments including casual dining or banquet settings Experience with catering operations or bar service is a plus but not required Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, motivate staff development, and promote a positive work culture Join us if you're passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences while honing your managerial skills in a lively restaurant setting!
