Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager (GM) or Assistant General Manager (AGM) to lead our fast-paced Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily operations, drive sales, ensure exceptional customer service, and foster a positive team environment. Responsibilities Lead and motivate the restaurant team to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Oversee daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, inventory control, and cash handling procedures. Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to ensure a well-trained and engaged team. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales tracking, and reporting. Monitor food safety practices, ensuring compliance with all health regulations and standards. Conduct regular performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and staff interviews to build a strong team culture. Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost control. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards across all areas of the restaurant including kitchen management. Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase customer traffic and sales. Qualifications Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food industry operations. Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management, staff training, and leadership skills. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience required. Knowledge of food safety management, inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis. Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage hospitality teams effectively. Experience in managing kitchen operations, food preparation, culinary processes, or fine dining is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for order accuracy, inventory calculations, and financial reporting.
