Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager to lead our vibrant restaurant team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient food production, and a welcoming atmosphere. Your leadership will drive team performance, uphold food safety standards, and manage daily operations to deliver an outstanding dining experience. Duties Lead and motivate the restaurant team to deliver top-tier customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Oversee daily restaurant operations, including shift management, staff scheduling, and ensuring smooth workflow across all departments. Manage inventory control, food handling procedures, and ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Conduct staff training sessions on food preparation, customer service excellence, food safety protocols, and operational procedures. Monitor financial performance by managing budgeting processes, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability. Supervise kitchen management activities including food production, culinary standards, and kitchen safety practices. Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business. Oversee catering services, banquet events, bar operations, and special promotions to enhance revenue streams. Interview prospective employees, participate in hiring decisions, and develop ongoing training & development programs for staff growth. Experience Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurants with a strong background in food service management. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary practices, and kitchen management. Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required. Demonstrated supervising experience within hospitality or restaurant environments; ability to lead diverse teams effectively. Familiarity with inventory control processes, food safety regulations (including HACCP standards), and budgeting practices. Prior casual dining or fine dining experience is highly desirable; banquet or catering background is a plus. Strong leadership skills with the ability to train staff on food handling, customer service excellence, and operational procedures. $65,560.50 - $78,954.59 per year
