Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Front House/Cashier/Manager to join our vibrant food service team. (Bilingual is a bonus and comes with a pro-pay increase) This role is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring smooth daily operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing cash transactions, and overseeing food preparation and safety standards. Your leadership will help foster a positive environment that encourages teamwork, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within the food industry while making a meaningful impact on our guests' experience. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, assist with menu selections, and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit Operate POS systems such as Square POS to process orders accurately and efficiently Handle cash transactions, perform cash handling duties, and reconcile register totals at shift end Prepare and serve food items in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards Upsell menu items to enhance sales and improve the guest experience Maintain cleanliness of the front of house area, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces Support food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring quick service times in a fast-paced environment Manage daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory checks, and staff coordination Uphold food handling protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations such as ServSafe standards Assist with training new team members on POS systems, food safety practices, and customer service expectations Qualifications Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly and confidently Knowledge of food preparation techniques, sanitation standards, and food safety regulation s (ServSafe manager certification is required) Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours Experience in cashiering, upselling, and sales techniques to maximize revenue opportunities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Kitchen or culinary experience is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn is essential Join us in delivering memorable experiences through exceptional service!
