Bar & Cocktail ManagerDel Pez Mexican Gastropub | Hakuna Hospitality Group Del Pez Mexican Gastropub is seeking an energetic, creative, and highly motivated Bar & Cocktail Manager to lead and elevate our bar program. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a true passion for cocktail culture, bar talent development, and building an exciting guest experience through creative, well-executed beverage programs. We are looking for a leader who is not only inspired by fresh ingredients, seasonal cocktails, emerging bar trends, and strong presentation standards, but also genuinely enjoys coaching bartenders and developing a stronger, more professional team. The Bar & Cocktail Manager will help drive the continued growth of the Del Pez beverage program by supporting cocktail menu development, bartender training, bar execution, product quality, cleanliness, guest experience, and day-to-day bar operations. This role requires creativity, organization, accountability, and the ability to balance exciting cocktail ideas with consistency, speed, cost control, and realistic execution in a high-volume restaurant environment. What You'll Do Lead, coach, train, and develop bartenders and bar support staff Help create and maintain exciting, brand-relevant cocktail menus, seasonal drinks, and feature cocktails Ensure consistent execution of recipes, measurements, garnishes, presentation, and service standards Support beer, wine, and cocktail program development with a focus on quality, creativity, profitability, and guest appeal Maintain high standards for bar cleanliness, organization, sanitation, storage, and equipment care Monitor bartender performance and provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and development Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training strong bar talent Manage inventory, ordering, pars, product rotation, waste control, and cost awareness Maintain accurate recipe documentation, cocktail specifications, and staff training materials Uphold responsible alcohol service, ID verification, safety standards, and company policies Create a positive, professional, and motivating bar culture that supports both guest satisfaction and team growth Who We're Looking For A creative bar leader with a strong passion for cocktail culture and beverage development Someone who enjoys coaching, mentoring, and developing bartenders A professional who understands that great cocktails still need consistency, speed, costing, and operational discipline A motivated individual who wants to grow, develop, and potentially move into broader beverage leadership in the future A strong communicator who can lead with energy, accountability, and emotional intelligence Someone organized, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining systems in a busy restaurant environment A leader who takes pride in hospitality, presentation, cleanliness, and team standards A candidate with experience in bar management, cocktail development, beverage operations, or high-volume restaurant leadership Experience Required Bar management, beverage management, or cocktail program experience required Experience training, coaching, or developing bartenders required Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, beer, bar trends, and guest service standards Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and peak restaurant shifts as needed Experience in an upscale casual, high-volume, or polished restaurant environment preferred Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Quarterly bonus opportunity Medical, dental, and vision benefit options 401(k) program Paid time off Manager dining privileges Opportunity for continued growth within Hakuna Hospitality Group Why Join Del Pez This is not a maintenance-only bar manager position. Pay:
$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
