Hakuna Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic, experienced, and highly engaged General Manager to lead Del Pez Mexican Gastropub in Wilmington, Delaware. What You'll Be Responsible For Restaurant Leadership & Operational Excellence Lead an energetic, high-volume, full-service restaurant with professionalism, confidence, and a strong presence on the floor. Consistently execute established company systems, operating procedures, and hospitality standards. Take ownership of daily operations, service execution, guest satisfaction, and overall restaurant performance. Lead by example, maintain high standards, and create a positive, accountable working environment. Financial Performance & Business Growth Take ownership of sales performance, labor management, controllable expenses, and restaurant profitability. Understand financial and operational reports and use them to make sound business decisions. Identify opportunities to increase sales, strengthen guest loyalty, and improve overall performance. Develop and execute initiatives that contribute to the restaurant's continued success. Leadership, Coaching & Team Development Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop a strong management team. Identify high-potential employees and actively prepare them for advancement. Establish clear expectations, provide constructive feedback, and hold team members accountable. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and teamwork. Build a leadership team capable of consistently delivering results. Successful candidates will demonstrate:

Proven leadership experience as a General Manager or high-performing Assistant General Manager in a high-volume, full-service restaurant. Strong working knowledge of restaurant operations, financial performance, and cost management. The ability to follow established systems while recognizing opportunities for improvement. A hands-on leadership style with strong communication and emotional intelligence. A demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and motivate other managers. Initiative, sound judgment, and the confidence to take responsibility for results. Professionalism, consistency, accountability, and composure under pressure. Genuine enthusiasm for the restaurant industry, guest hospitality, and building successful teams. Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
