Job Description

Role Summary:
The Assistant Manager works side by side with the General Manager to lead the overall operations of the restaurant on a daily basis. Specifically, this role is a leader and critical component in ensuring success in the following areas: Financial stewardship management through food cost, labor cost and repairs & maintenance Back of House and Guest Experience operations Leadership and people development
General Responsibilities:
Drive sales growth mentality and foster an environment of exceptional service and hospitality. Provide appropriate and effective training for all team members. Execute all operational systems daily to ensure a clean, organized restaurant, prepared to deliver quality food and service. Maintain high standards of service throughout the operational day by demonstrating leadership by example. Perform coaching and discipline for actions that do not meet Zaxby's standards and execute disciplinary documentation for all team members who fail to meet expectations. Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards. Open and/or close the restaurant leading the shift as a key holder. Assist in the interviewing and hiring process for new team members. Utilize all management tools to keep neat, accurate and current records. Ensure all team members are knowledgeable of the policies and procedures by constantly asking questions, testing and monitoring their performance and giving timely feedback

Years of Experience:
2 Skilled in time management Self-directed and highly organized Must be able to master all knowledge and skills of every position in the restaurant
